The work was done beautifully, with very good attention to detail, the work areas were kept extremely clean, and the post-work clean-up was excellent.
Not only that, the Romanov team is a pleasure to work and interact with, and is very professional. I would use them again, and recommend them very highly!

What stood out was that in the end of the job, once the payment was all done, I noticed a small blue patch in the family room, which Andre had alread painted over. However, since it was some marker color put on by the previous resident, it came through the off white paint, and Andre offered to cover it with oil paint and fix it — which to me was the peak of excellent customer service!

The work they did was paint the kitchen cupboards, living room and dining room walls/plus accent walls, and add crown molding, custom window molding, and chair rails. What a difference this made. Seriously, it feels like a brand new home, fresh, clean, chic and suits my style perfectly.

Everyday they arrived on time, were professional, friendly and worked very diligently and efficiently all day long. At the end of the day, Andrey would walk me though the work they did, and review what they were doing the next day. I’m very particular and have to say the workmanship was outstanding. The first day I hung out a bit and observed their work, but after that, I knew I could fully trust Andrey and his team to come in and do their thing. The job took five days from start to finish. I’m sure with other contractors, this would have stretched out to a few weeks.

A couple things that really stood out was when I asked for their input on certain decisions, they offered honest responses. They weren’t afraid to let me know why a certain idea would or wouldn’t work. And then we worked together to make final decisions. Another thing was on occasion, Andrey would have me come check colors, or the look of something before they got too far, to ensure I was happy. If something needed tweaking, they didn’t hesitate (and no disgruntled attitude whatsoever).

This Spring I plan to continue with Phase II of my “refresh” project (bedrooms, bathrooms, deck and patio) and I simply cannot wait. My recommendation is–don’t spent much time searching for other contractors, book Romanov Painting while you can!

They also stained my new stair bannister and painted the area where the old bannister was attached.

I strongly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
